Ordinary Meetings of the Irton Parish Council are held every second month at:

Seamer and Irton Memorial Hall (Back Room), Main Street, Seamer, YO12 4QD.

Meetings are held on a Monday evening, commencing at 7.00pm.

The next Council Meeting is to be held on Monday, 20 January 2025.

The Annual Council Meeting is held in conjunction with the Ordinary Meeting in May. During this meeting, the Councillors elect a Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Representatives. Additionally, the Councillors reaffirm matters of governance. 

You are warmly invited, and encouraged, to attend the Council Meetings. At each meeting there is time allocated for the public to ask questions or to provide comments on items on the agenda. Your input is valuable and ensures that the Council is addressing the needs or concerns of the public in the best way possible.

Please note that if you have a specific issue that you would like to raise, Contact the Clerk to have it added to the agenda to ensure time is allocated for discussion.
