VE Day Garden Party

Our celebration of the 80th anniversary of VE Day was a great success, and the weather was perfect. We greatly appreciate the sponsorship from the former Friends of Irton Group and would like to extend a personal thank you to Richard and Marlene Parnell for the use of their lovely garden for this event. To mark this occasion, we have mounted a commemorative plaque on the public bench at the corner of Ayton Road and Irton Moor Lane. Private donations were collected for the Veterans Association in the amount of £100. Thank you everyone.
